Thanks for the help, Jeremy. I managed to get it working. I tried just copying my entire mingw distribution over the one that comes with the platform, and everything worked out. I'll post if that breaks any other libraries or anything. Hopefully the fix is exactly that straightforward until the platform gets updated/"fixed"
