I am thinking very seriously about it now. Before wxWidgets switched
to SVN I was against it since, as they say, "old dogs can't learn new
tricks." Like for example this "external" thing? So much to learn...

So, yes, lets do it, I'll trust that wxWidgets has carefully
considered it and found that it's the best thing to do. But! only
after we get configure working again so we can do a release before the
switch. Also, it'd be best to wait for Sourceforge to complete my
request to remove a few empty dirs in the wxLua CVS so there's no
confusion (or mistakes).
