Yes, I am gearing up for trying it out. I know that there might be a
small issue with the char* <--> wxString functions wx2lua() and
lua2wx(), but this should be minor as 2.9 uses UTF8 now. Other than
that, there will probably be a handful of changes to other functions.

In the big scheme of things I plan on trying to use the interface
files that wxWidgets now uses for generating the docs as the interface
files that wxLua uses to generate the bindings. That, however, will be
a big job, but hopefully worth it as I will not have to try to
maintain our own copy of them.
