Hi John, I think implementing ShowDropDown may be problematic and I may have an alternative, although it requires access to wxAuiTabCtrl through public methods in wxwidgets (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/wx-users/KZVldo51mtk/Cz5E5RP7uPAJ).
I'd still like to have SetColour and SetActiveColour methods for wxAuiTabArt class. Thank you! Paul.
