Hi,

wxPerl does note its requirement for a particular version of wxWidgets. If 
there is an error here it is in my packaging of the PPM's.

I must confess that I only checked the ppm GUI to see if the dependencies in 
the PPD and repository summaries worked. I  think that command line PPM must be 
different. You are the second person to report this problem.
