To be fair to the PDK / PerlApp folks, I am inclined to regard this as a 
wxWidgets issue and the way the dependent wxWidgets dlls are loaded but you 
could view it either way I guess.

In many ways PDK 7.1 improves Wx support with heuristics to include the dlls 
automatically.

Also, I think that previous reports (from me) of --dyndll working may have been 
over optimistic. It turned out to be a bit of a hit and miss affair (translates 
to 'I never bothered to track the issues down' ).
