All tools panic at exit: % perl -MWx -e 1 panic: free from wrong pool during global destruction. Some tools (unfortunately not easily sharable) panic at other times. The demo has a different problem: % cd Wx-Demo-0.09 % perl -Mlib=blib/lib blib/script/wxperl_demo.pl Modification of non-creatable hash value attempted, subscript "Wx/DemoModules/wxHVScrolledWindow.pm" at blib/lib/Wx/Demo.pm line 310. panic: free from wrong pool during global destruction. When uncommenting line 310 of Demo.pm it runs (with a lot of warnings) but with the exit panic. > > Kernel: 2.6.25.3-18_1.cubbi_tuxonice.fc9.i686 > > perl-5.10.0-20.fc9.i386 > > perl-Wx-0.81-1.fc9.i386 > > perl-Alien-wxWidgets-0.32-4.fc9.i386 > > wxGTK-2.8.7-2.fc9.i386 > > wxBase-2.8.7-2.fc9.i386 > > wxGTK-gl-2.8.7-2.fc9.i386 > > Are these RPMs provided by Fedora on the install DVD? Yes, these are from the DVD. > I'll try to reproduce it inside a VMWare. Thanks! -- Johan
