When looking at http://www.wxperl.co.uk/repository/ and more specifically at
http://www.wxperl.co.uk/repository/Alien-wxWidgets.ppd
it claims to be 0.39 while I think in the actual tar.gz file there is
0.42 which is the latest
on CPAN.

the GUI version of ppm also seems to be confused, regarding the version numbers.
not just me.

Downloading and unzipping
http://www.wxperl.co.uk/repository/Alien-wxWidgets-PPM510.tar.gz
it does contain the needed file so I am not sure why isn't it installed.
