August 2009, 22:32:52 Uhr Betreff: cool wxPerl applications for Windows users As you might know a month ago we started to distribute a package we call "Almost Six" which includes - Strawberry Perl for Windows - Padre (which also means wxPerl) - Rakudo and the Padre::Plugin::Perl6 We are planning to have monthly releases of this package so we are going to release a new version quite soon. Adam Kennedy is planning to add SDL and Frozen Bubble to it once that compiles and runs on Windows. That will be really cool if people could download Perl and it comes with a game as well. On the other hand it might be also cool if it came with a couple of other useful applications or at least if it was easy to install those applications once Strawberry and wxPerl are installed. So I started to think if there are more open-source applications written in wxPerl that work on Windows as well and that would be interesting to package along with Padre? Ideas? Gabor
