Hi wxPerl Users,

For some time I've felt a gentle peer-pressure from people (especially
Johan), to start using Citrus Perl, so when my Windows ActiveState Perl gave
up the ghost, as it did yesterday, I decided to try Citrus.

So first may I say how easy it was to use. I went from Perl 5.10
ActiveState, to 5.16 Citrus without a hiccough.

And for someone who doesn't rate his own GUI design skills (Mark I'm talking
about you -
http://binaryperl.blogspot.com.br/2011/06/wallasey-does-perl-gui-development
.html), it was a surprisingly nice user interface. In particular I had
deleted dmake along with my ActiveState, Cygwin and MinGW, and Citrus just
prompted me to install it with a button in big red letters, saying words to
the effect of "press me".

So if any of you haven't yet tried it, this is the call to do so. It is
available here:

http://www.citrusperl.com/download.html

It will look after you nicely.

Have fun.

Regards

Steve.
