Some details: - Windows 10 - latest Strawberry Perl (5.40 I think) - Johan's wxPerl / Alien::wxWidgets - wxGlade 1.1.0 (Python 3.12.x) - 28 *real* CPU cores - non-blocking GUI via ithreads - gcc (mingw, v13) shipped with Strawberry Perl (also supports OpenMP!) I've been on a tear the last couple of days leading up to this. Thanks for all the help. Still need to figure out packaging, but will look into Johan's suggestion. wxPerl will get a very healthy mention in the upcoming Science Perl Journal (Winter Edition), where I have a pretty lengthy paper covering Perl+OpenMP.
