I have outlined what I did to ensure that the wxPerl GUI could call out to https sites when using HTTP::Tiny,
https://wiki.perl-guilds.net/index.php?title=Developing_and_Distributing_wxPerl_Applications_on_Windows#Special_Cases The app is going to be to do things with the National Hurricane Center's JSON file they issue during active hurricanes, so it is presented in a TreeCtrl view. URL items can be double clicked, and the URL is copied to the clipboard. When we get closer to the end of May (start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season,) I will be adding some more things since my original intention was just to creatre a Windows GUI that alerted the user whenever a new advisory was issued. https://github.com/StormSurgeLive/nhc-advisory-gui (image along with others are in the README.md there:) [image: image.png] Cheers, Brett -- This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
