In preparation for installing wxPerl 3.009 I'm trying to build perl-
Alien-wxWidgets from github and failing at the first step.
~/install/Alien-wxWidgets-0.72$ perl Build.PL
Base class package "Module::Build" is empty.
(Perhaps you need to 'use' the module which defines that package first,
or make that module available in @INC (@INC contains: . ./lib ./inc

wxwidgets is freshly installed pre-built from the repo

System is Linux Mint 22.2 (ubuntu 24.04) fully patched.
