Hi, in a different post (http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=46F0C8EF3D7C164A8C6AB8FE615D016C0B546C60CC%40ICEXM3.ic.ac.uk&forum_name=x10- users) I was notified that the Array class is "in a state of flux at the moment". Given this I withdraw my current question, because whatever answer can be given now, it may be obsolete in some future. In general, I have to admit that I am feeling quite lost as a user, because the resources in http://x10.codehaus.org/For+Users, particularly the tutorials, detail at length about the general concepts. This is good for a general understanding. But for writing your own programs, you don't want to start from scratch. Instead, you would need details on the classes and methods as provided in http://dist.codehaus.org/x10/xdoc/2.0/. This site provides the formal definitions, but not the functionality of these methods and classes - you can only guess from the name. I know that writing documentation is always tedious and may appear lost work, when things are still on the move. But would it be possible to copy some of the comment lines from the code of the methods and classes (assuming that there are any) to the description in http://dist.codehaus.org/x10/xdoc/2.0/, say marked as "additional hint" ? -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards Dr. Christoph Pospiech High Performance & Parallel Computing Phone: +49-351 86269826 Mobile: +49-171-765 5871 E-Mail: christoph.pospi...@de.ibm.com ------------------------------------- IBM Deutschland GmbH Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats: Erich Clementi Geschäftsführung: Martin Jetter (Vorsitzender), Reinhard Reschke, Christoph Grandpierre, Klaus Lintelmann, Michael Diemer, Martina Koederitz Sitz der Gesellschaft: Ehningen / Registergericht: Amtsgericht Stuttgart, HRB 14562 WEEE-Reg.-Nr.
