Dave,

I am running eclipse 3.5.1 + X10 + (C++) + OpenMPI on my Laptop (Ubuntu 9.10).
All I did was installing the eclipse 3.5.1 Debian package and add eclipse
plugins as needed (CDT 6.0.2 for C support, PTP 3.0.2 for MPI support, X10RT
2.0.2) which pulled necessary prerequisites.

In particular, I didn't do any recompilation of X10.

I admit, that I don't run any batch system, but the eclipse X10DT allows to
specify some batch system (SLURM and PBS being among them).

And, BTW, X10 2.0.2 will be out during the next days, perhaps even later
today.
