Following are the hardware and software features of the cluster (machine B):

Hardware Features:
    * 6 Dell PowerEdge R710 rack-mounted servers, each with:
          o 2 quad-core Intel Xeon X5570 processors, 
          o 48GB of memory
    * 12 total Intel Xeon X5570 processors (48 total processor cores)
    * Gigabit Ethernet-connected (no high-speed interconnect yet)

Software Features:
    * Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
    * Torque resource manager & Maui cluster scheduler
    * MPI - Message Passing Interface

Machine A is a head node that is used to submit jobs to the compute node
(machine B) using qsub through torque queues.
