Hi guys,

I've downloaded the pre-built Eclipse package for Linux amd64 and
everything works fine. To be honest, initially it was a surprise to me
how good the performance was. I was expecting that a package with a
Scala-like language, which requires CDT, etc would perform worse.

In spite the initial good experience, I've observed that usability
degradates more or less easily.

I'm considering a step back to Emacs + command lines tools.
Are you guys using something similar by any chance?

Thanks a lot :)
