Hi,

We've managed to reproduce the problem on Win32 with a Java 5 JRE. Strangely,
the problem doesn't seem to occur with a Sun Java 6 JRE (at least not in our
testing), nor does it seem to occur on Mac OS.

We had recently introduced a dependency in the X10DT on the Eclipse Platform
SDK v3.6, in order to work around the absence of an appropriate dependency in
one of the PTP components that we require. The absence of that dependency
allowed the install to succeed, but then the PTP code would fail at runtime,
since it uses API that only exists as of Eclipse 3.6.

We're going to try to roll back that dependency, and see whether that addresses
the problem you encountered.

The result will be somewhat less safe -- it will be possible to install on
Eclipse 3.5, even though the result won't work properly -- but hopefully at
least you will be able to install Subversive/Subclipse into the resulting X10DT.

We'll keep you posted.
