Hi,

        We're expecting to create the 2.1.2 release branch this week (should
be within 24-48 hours).  The actual release is probably 2 weeks or so away,
but the branch would give you fairly stable point to use if you don't want
to wait for the actual formal release.  The svn head/2.1.2 branch/2.1.2
release are not dependent on SF cvs to get BDWGC.
        The svn head as of last night looks fairly stable (especially on
linux), so it should be usable. But if you can wait a day or so that would
have the advantage of giving you the actual branch to use as a  reference
point.
