Hi,
I’m running my x10-program with the environment-variable X10_NTHREADS set to
different values and X10_STATIC_THREADS set to “true”, but everytime I get many
more threads than the worker-threads. Further the number of actual threads is
neither higher than the number of worker-threads by a constant offset, nor does
it grow linearly with the number of worker-threads. During the calculations
only as many threads as specified in X10_NTHREADS are up to 100% busy.
I could imagine a few more threads for scheduling and garbage-collection, but
what are all the other threads doing? Can anyoneone tell me? I’m using native
C++-backend.
Thanks in advance,
Christopher
