I was still using 2.7.7 in a just-installed El Capitan system, and experienced
a bug that makes some of my applications unusable: OpenGL views aren't hidden
when their parent is hidden. I'm seeing this in a tabbed panel, which shows
some OpenGL depending on the selected tab: as soon as an OpenGL view is created
when you select the tab, it's never gone when you change the tab.

So I tried with this new 2.7.8-rc3, but the problem persists, and it's exactly
the same.

This has never happened to me in any previous OS X release, from Tiger to
Yosemite included. Only affects El Capitan.

My applications create their GUI with OpenMotif, if that matters.

Thanks!
