I'm seeing this in a tabbed panel, which shows some OpenGL depending on the selected tab: as soon as an OpenGL view is created when you select the tab, it's never gone when you change the tab. So I tried with this new 2.7.8-rc3, but the problem persists, and it's exactly the same. This has never happened to me in any previous OS X release, from Tiger to Yosemite included.
