Dear X11 experts, There are two X11 available for macOS <https://www.xquartz.org <https://www.xquartz.org/>> —> Xquartz.app —> /opt/X11/bin/Xquartz <- v2.8.1 <https://www.macports.org <https://www.macports.org/>> —> MacPorts/X11.app —> /opt/local/bin/Xquartz
An X11 based application automatically launches the Xtern of the default X11 server i.e. either Xquartz.app or X11.app. How can I switch from one server to the other or, if you prefer, how can I set the default X11 server ? I could not find a suitable terminal command for that. All the best Alain
