Speaking of font sizes, is it just me or … ? Something that has bugged me for awhile now is that the menus that xterm brings up are mis-sized.
When I hit “control-click” (single finger tap on my trackpad while holding down the control key) it brings up a window whose first line is “Main Options” and when I “control-right-click” (double finger tap) it brings up a window whose first line is “VT Fonts”. Used to be I could use the first one to select options such as whether UTF-8 characters were supported and I could select one of several font sizes in the other, but a fairly recent update … okay, maybe not so recent, but I’ve put off doing anything about it because I don’t really use those menus very often … has made it so the popup windows for those menus are only big enough to see that first line making them impossible to use. What controls the size of those popup menu windows and how do I adjust things to give them a reasonable size? I’m up-to-date at MacOS Ventura 13.1 and XQuartz 2.8.4 (xorg-server 21.1.6) … which just installed as I checked the version in order to compose this. Thanks. -Ken
