I'm using XQuartz 2.8.5 on Sonoma 14.4, and I'm noticing that
after some period of time (a few days) XQuartz stops performing
pastes into the macOS pasteboard. Copy/paste between X11 windows
continues to work fine, as does copy/paste from macOS windows
to X11; but it's really fairly crippling that I can't paste into
Safari. The only way I've found to restore functionality is to
restart XQuartz. This started before 14.4, although I think
later than 14.0.
Are other people seeing this? Is there a fix, or a less painful
workaround?
