I updated my laptop to the latest macOS tonight, and was rather
astonished to find that minimizing X11 windows no longer works.
Clicking the yellow per-window button does nothing, ditto the
Window/Minimize menu item, ditto command-M. Everything else I've
tried seems fine (including window-close and window-maximize buttons),
so this is a pretty befuddling change in a minor OS release.
Does anyone else see this, or have a clue how to fix it?
I should note that I'm still using the last "XQuartz" release,
2.8.5 with xorg-server 21.1.6. In the past I've tried some
newer releases off MacPorts and found them less stable than
2.8.5, but maybe that's the only answer.
