Hi List,

We (Mike Gabriel and myself) are currently developing a new Python based
(gui)client. For me the main reason was the instability of XMing, the X-server
that is incorporated in the current X2go client. The new Python client will
have a configurable X-server. So if you want to use Cygwin/X it is OK, if you
want to use Xming it is OK, and if you want to use a commercial X-server that
should work also.

We hope to have a working copy at the end of next week. Off course that will be
Beta, but should be usable nevertheless and should have all features included.

After that testing should be done on Windows and Mac. I hope we can start
packaging the whole thing after next week.

(I am an incurable optimist!)

Cheers
Dick Kniep
