[In the role of future Git Admin for X2go I send you the following
information. Sending this info had already been agreed on a week ago,
however, in a very exciting and also strenuous last week, sending this
mail to the X2go-dev list simply got lost temporarily on my TODO list.
Sorry for that!!!]
For those who are interested in the X2go public Git preparations: you
can watch the X2go developers (Heinz and Alex) work as they prepare
the latest X2go code for public Git at their sandbox site:
http://git.x2go.org
The Git sandbox site can be viewed in a web browser, Git
checkouts/pulls, however, are not possible there.
Currently, the plan is to restructure the X2go source tree a little
more in order to make working with it more intuitively for us all.
For this process Heinz and Alex still need a little more time (as they
do it after they have come home from work and there are still a few
issues to discuss). However, with the Git preparation sandbox (see
above link) you can already grab a preview of the official community
repository later on presented at (pullable & branch-pushable) BerliOS.
And again our offer: if you intend to work on your own blend of X2go
you are invited to also share your work on a branch of our
nearly-there public Git repository at BerliOS. If you are interested
in collaboration, please sign up at BerliOS as a developer...

preferred X2go branch name. Please let us also know about the features
or modifications that you intend to add to X2go (out of pure curiosity).

Our current timeline for X2go Git is to push the Git sandbox to
BerliOS before the end of November 2010.
