Hi esp. Reinhard,

I have just discussed with Morty a good strategy to always have a ,,latest'' tag in X2go Git projects that refers to the newest tag.

The idea is to provide nightly-builds as well as ,,stable'' builds (which refers to the latest tag in Git).

Would it be sensible to add some script part to one of our update scripts on the Git server that maintains a ,,latest'' tag: if a new tag is pushed remove tag ,,latest'' and set ,,latest'' tag after push again? How could this or some smimilar mechanism be achieved?

Thanks+Greets,
Mike
