Maybe you want to take a look. I will be in London for the next couple of days (till Wednesday 11th) so do not expect to much verbosity from my side. However, I am very keen to continue the work after I have come back.
I will also put up the question here, if we should sooner or later think about moving the tmpfs code to the master branch as the master branch currently is completely broken and not usable with squeeze.
I have also built packages on packages.x2go.org/debian for heuler and main, both reflecting the tmpfs branch status.
