Coul it be that the changes documented in this GIT commit aren't the
only ones you made, at least for:
Win binary:

I decided to check the md5sums of all files involved and I'm seeing
the following:
- changed md5sums with a lot of cygwin-/Pulseaudio/VcXsrv-related files
- new files that weren't there in RC2 (e.g. x2goclient/libeay32.dll,
x2goclient/VcXsrv/XErrorDB)
- files missing in RC3 that were there in RC2 (e.g.
x2goclient/pulse/module-cli-protocol-tcp.dll)
