Like Rob, I also have the same problem with backslashes in the username, which arise when winbind is used to integrate with Active Directory.
For example, DOMAIN\username will result in this error: 1. Run X2Go Windows client. 2. Connect to server with DOMAIN\username. 3. Get this error upon logging on: --------------------------- Error --------------------------- <b>Connection failed.</b> Cannot create remote file ~DOMAIN\username/.x2go/ssh/key.e32140 - scp status code 1d not valid --------------------------- OK --------------------------- That is with X2Go client 4.0.5.0 for Windows.
