Something like "configure --prefix=$HOME/somedir". At least this way one would be able to build a customized server that doesn't need root access. Doesn't x2go follow the default of "./configure && make && make install"? > So it won't be easy nor straight-forward. Am I the first who asks for such a feature? Whoever is knowledgeable about root-less installation, please make it happen.
