That sure sounds like something went belly-up during your domain migration of the user you saw the issue with. You might want to check with your domain admins for a) Group Policy settings that differ between those two accounts b) Permissions/Ownerships *of the registry entries* for X2Go. Also, with the affected user, try running x2goclient.exe --portable so it creates a sessions file instead of using the registry - would be interesting to see if the items remain greyed out even in portable mode.
