My latest tests have shown that KDE5 crashes at the moment because it tries to use the Xinput2 in the nxagent Xserver, which is not present (only Xinput(1)).
My sense is that KDE5 works well without GLX 1.3 (whereas GNOME3 and Unity7 do not).
