Rob is correct, but I must expand on it: 1. X2Go isn't compatible with RHEL 7.2's GNOME 3.14 (or GNOME 3.8 in RHEL 7.0 & 7.1), but we are compatible with RHEL7's KDE4 and (I think) all the desktop environments in EPEL.
2. I recommend you install X2Go from EPEL: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:installation:x2goserver#rhel_7 You can also install the packages from our repo: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:repositories:epel#adding_the_x2go_repository_to_your_package_system 3. The server is the latest 4.0.1.x version, and the client is the latest 4.0.x.y version. Both are referred to as codename heuler, or main. -Mike On Sun, Sep 18, 2016 at 2:13 AM, Robert Dinse <nan...@eskimo.com> wrote: > > I've had zero problems with X2go on either Centos7 or Scientific Linux > 7, both of which are derived from Redhat 7. > > -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- > Eskimo North Linux Friendly Internet Access, Shell Accounts, and Hosting. > Knowledgeable human assistance, not telephone trees or script readers. > See our web site: http://www.eskimo.com/ (206) 812-0051 or (800) 246-6874. > > On Sun, 18 Sep 2016, Nira Shavitt wrote: > >> Date: Sun, 18 Sep 2016 08:59:49 +0300 >> From: Nira Shavitt <nshav...@gmail.com> >> To: x2go-user@lists.x2go.org >> Subject: [X2Go-User] X2Go on Red Hat Enterprize Linux Server 7.0 or 7.2 >> (RH7.0) >> >> Is there?s an X2GO version that runs smoothly on RH7.0. or RH7.2.
