sshfs works both ways, you can mount directories from your server on your
local machine or vise versa and that can be installed with ssh without x2go.
It is a very convenient feature, a lot easier than screwing with nfs or samba
if just for a single user.

Hello everyone,

I have a question about X2Go dependencies. What is the fuse-sshfs package used for? Will X2Go stop working if I remove it from my system?

Thank you for your time,

Ivan Gomez

sshfs is used for client-side printing from within X2Go sessions and for mounting local folders and/or devices into the X2Go session.

If you don't need those features, it is ok to uninstall sshfs.
