Greetings I am using X2GO to access and Ubuntu 17 server running Mate. I am having mixed success with the redirected audio to the client (which is running pulseaudio). I can aplay soundfile.wav and it successfully plays on the client. However, pavucontrol on the server core dumps, and any application other than aplay (eg mpg123) fails to send the audio (with no error reported at the server end).
I wonder if anyone could advise on the correct Ubuntu pulseaudio configuration.... or has experienced this strange partly-working situation? With grateful thanks, Jamie
