Sorry, my fault. I meant -query, not -print
@09:10:43#/usr/share/X11/xkb# setxkbmap -I. -query

On the client system - windows 7 - I found no nx-libs. x2go-Client (V.
1.1.1) is installed (latest version)
Hmm, current versiom is 4.1.1.1
Sorry, I have forgotten the leading Four, I was fixed to the count of
ones! The correct answer is:
x2go-Client (V. 4.1.1.1) is installed (latest version)
@21:52:26#~# dpkg -l | grep libnx
ii libnx-x11-6:amd64 2:3.5.99.16-1+git20180317.2985+8.main.1 amd64
nxagent's libNX_X11 client-part library
These are all old, you should drop them.
I think they are up to date for jessie, have a look to
http://packages.x2go.org/debian/dists/jessie/main/binary-amd64/Packages
OK, I see you are trying to login using root. Does it work better if
you take normal user (root sessions can be special)? You should also
remove /etc/x2go/keystrokes.cfg; your version is outdated. Removing
does not hurt as x2go will then use the builtin defaults which are
largely the same you have - minus the previously broken ones ;-)
I will test this later, I have to leave now.
