Solaris Intel

I am trying to implement xalan on the Solaris Intel platform.  We have successfully implemented on Solaris Sparc, but recompiling on Solaris Intel and running our application causes the following exception:   __static_initialization_and_destruction_0 ()   I compiled xalan using runConfigure -psolaris -cgcc -xg++ -rpthread, then make.  My initial guess is there is some processor-specific code that needs to be different for Solaris Intel.   Does anyone have any insight to this?  Thanks   Michael Tackett Seapine Software www.seapine.com
