Hi Jay,

They are not compatible -- Xerces-C 2.2.0 is now using C++ namespaces,
which won't work with the 1.4 code.

You can get the latest code from CVS, or get a CVS nightly tarball. We are
working on a release and hope to have one done soon. It's unlikely the
code will change much unless we find some major problem.

Dave

Has anybody done any testing using Xalan C++ 1.4
with Xerces C++ 2.2.0? I realize that nothing
formal has been done, or otherwise you would have
updated your download site. So, I am only hoping
for a little anecdotal feedback before I download
and install.

Also, is there a timeline for a compatible release?

Xerces C++ 2.2.0 has been out for about 3 weeks,
has some features I am interested in, but I also
need to use Xalan.

Thanks,

Jay Perry
