Hi,

I noticed that the Xerces-C++ team recently released their 2.2 version.
While the Xalan-C++ 1.4 page states that it is compatible with
Xerces-C++ 2.1, would the Xalan 1.4 + Xerces 2.2 combination work at
all?

For us, one of the biggest motivation to consider Xerces-C++ 2.2 is it
is compatible with ICU 2.4. Xerces-C++ 2.1 library cannot be built with
ICU 2.4 at all (only ICU 2.2). If Xalan-C++ 1.4 has a strict version
dependency on Xerces, it complicates the matter.

Thanks,
- Chandu
