Peoples,
There has been a small discussion going on about what version of gcc (or even Intel compiler) should be used for the linux binary release
files for Xalan 1.5.
The current thinking, assuming we go with gcc, is version 3.2.2, but we would be interested in what is of most use to most people.
On the same vein, we currently only include API docs in the compiled distributions Would people like to see the docs also distributed as a separate bundle? Alternately, as part of the source bundles?
Note that there is no plan to remove docs from the binary distributions - only to potentially add them to source dists.
Cheers, Xalan-C
