Does your XALANCROOT environment var end in /c?
I.e.
XALANCROOT=/opt/local/sanxius/works/xml-xalan-1.5/c
rather than
XALANCROOT=/opt/local/sanxius/works/xml-xalan-1.5

but at the gmake commands shows that:

`/opt/local/sanxius/works/xml-xalan-1.5/c/src/obj/process.o'.  Stop.
do i make some errors? i don'understand where i made mistake.
