Only question - is the initial para in index.html correct? It still reads like an intro to 1.4?

Hi, any more update on this? Our organization is dependent on the Xalan 1.5 schedule, and the dependent Xerces (2.2) /ICU (2.4) releases have been finalized a long back. In theory, we can get started with the Xalan 1.5 nightly builds, but we really need the official 1.5 source-tree to get unblocked. Thanks, - Chandu

There's not been much feedback regarding the first candidate release, so I'm taking that as a good sign. Berin Lautenbach was working on some doc updates, but I don't know the status of those.
Berin, do you have any more doc updates to do? If not, I'll take another pass through the doc to do some tweaks, and I think we'll be ready to go.

Any word on what is the status of declaring Xalan-C++ 1.5 to be an official release? An estimate on the date on which the webpage will reflect this will help.

You cannot use Xalan 1.4 with Xerces 2.2. You'll need the latest CVS, or one fo the current 1.5 release candidates. See the mail archive for more info.

Could any body let me know if it is possible to use Xalan 1.4 with Xerces 2.2.Would this require rebuilding the xalan source code? Would it require major code changes in Xalan 1.4?
