libxalan-c.so and it's friends are in the xml-xalan/c/lib directory, so it seems to have built successfully.

We haven't tried to build Xalan-C on Solaris using GCC for quite some time. It's mostly because we don't have the hardware available to do such testing. Can you verify that the Xalan-C library built successfully? Also, can you verify what version of GCC you're using? Thanks! Dave
