Dave, Another observation: Those extra whitespaces are not coming when I do file to file transform using the same XSL file. Only when I parse the same file, and do DOMDocument to file transform, those whitespaces are coming. So, it seems that XSL is okay. Isn't it ? Is any setting required on the DOM side ? Please let me know what is that.
