Hi Dave,

I do not try that, because I do not know how. I just want to call the
xalan-c within my java program. I am not able to use the xalan-j version,
because there seems to be a different behaviour at some points between
xalan-c and j. And in our productiv env we use xalan-c and so I hava to
test against it. Does a good freeware c-ide exist, where I can debug xalan
and does there exist anywhere sone instruction how to debug?

Thanks for your help and best regards,
Andreas

Have you tried running the Debug version in the IDE and debugging it?

Dave
