There was a long thread about this just last week, so you're probably
hitting the same problem: The stock versions of Xerces-C and Xalan-C only
work with ICU 3.2.1 and older.
I've been meaning to upgrade things to work with a newer version of the
ICU, but I haven't had the time.
BTW, it looks like you've not yet responded to my request with your
previous posting regarding the assert in XalanVector.hpp. I'd really like
a reproducible test case so we can fix the problem, if it exists.
