Hello Raymond, 'svn co' is the command line used to check out sources from a Subversion repository.
You can check out the Xalan-C trunk on any machine with internet connection and a SVN client. Then put the directory you just checked out into a tarball and transfer it to your Solaris platform by whatever means available to you.
