To Xalan-C Users: I have some files attached to the JIRA XALANC-712 issue for review.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XALANC-712 UserGuide-html-20110706.zip contains reformatted web pages based on Xalan 1.10 as found in the CurrentSVN repository. Build-Libs-20110707 contains the web page rework for building Xalan 1.11 on Windows .NET platforms and UNIX platforms. I currently build XalanC-1.11 from the CurrentSVN using the XercesC-3.1.1 source distribution. I have successful builds using: MS .NET 2003 (VC7.1) MS .NET 2005 (VC8) MS .NET 2008 (VC9) Debian Linux (gcc,g++) I don't have platforms for other Unix systems, but the documentation should give useful information on how to get the libraries to compile for your Unix. The procedures described in the "Build-Libs" web page describes how to build the XALAN C libraries on Unix when sources are on read-only media. Sincerely, Steven J. Hathaway
